Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesMonitor health and performance of plant equipment through condition monitoring technologies, data analytics and reliability engineering techniquesIdentify developing failures and recommend preventive or corrective measuresFrom collected data or past history, optimise maintenance strategies and maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and minimise unplanned downtime\Work closely with maintenance engineers and technicians to develop equipment recovery plans based on condition monitoring findingsDevelop and own condition monitoring programmes for the plants, including developing the trends and analytics needed for visibility of equipment healthMonitor and evaluate industry trends in condition monitoring technologiesWork with relevant stakeholders on the development of AI analytics for spotting early warning signs of failureReact to alerts from AI analytics, verify the alert and escalate as needed and where necessary, work with the digital team on improving the behaviour of the AI analytics programmeSupport Root Cause Analysis or failure investigations through condition monitoring and data analyticsIdentify recurring failure modes and recommend improvements to eliminate or reduce repeat failuresSupport the maintenance planners in the identification and execution of cross-plant synergiesThis role will be primarily responsible for the mechanical systems in power generation and utility plantsQualifications & ExperienceDegree in Mechanical Engineering requiredMinimum 3 years of experience in a process plant environment (Utilities, Oil & Gas, ChemicalsExperienced in condition monitoring, rotating and static equipment diagnosticsThe following skills will be advantageous:ISO Vibration Certified AnalystThermographyLube Oil AnalysisFamiliarity with SAP Plant Maintenance ModuleOur Culture at SembcorpAt Sembcorp, our culture is shaped by a strong set of shared behaviours that guide the way we work and uphold our commitment to driving the energy transition.We foster an institution-first mindset, where the success of Sembcorp takes precedence over individual interests.
