What You Will Do:
Perform month-end and year-end closing for management reporting and statutory compliance under SFRS Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and supporting balance sheet schedules with transaction-level movement analysis Post month-end closing journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, FX revaluation, and provisions Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and entities Perform intercompany transaction reconciliation and follow up on unmatched items with regional counterparts Assist in preparing and submitting quarterly GST returns, annual corporate income tax filing, withholding tax, and related schedules Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary Support process improvement and finance automation initiatives — including reviewing reconciliation logic, validating system-generated journals, and identifying areas where AI / scripting tools can reduce manual effort Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification More than 2 years of relevant experience handling a full set of accounts, preferably in gaming, internet, or high-tech industry Solid working knowledge of Singapore GST, corporate tax, and SFRS Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large-dataset handling) and hands-on experience with ERP / accounting systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset Able to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-border environment Comfortable working bilingually in English and Mandarin (to liaise with HQ and regional finance teams) Able to work onsite fully
Nice to Have (AI / Automation Edge):
Familiarity with SQL for querying transaction-level data, or willingness to learn Hands-on experience using AI tools Exposure to Python / Power Query / Airflow / RPA tools for finance automation Understanding of how LLMs can be applied to finance workflows (e.g. anomaly detection in journals, automated variance commentary, statement parsing) — even at a conceptual level
