Job Responsibility:: Seek reliable suppliers to purchase quality goods at reasonable prices; Liaison & sourcing activities for the suppliers on quality, pricing, credit terms and delivery issues including negotiation of the items. Execute purchasing daily operations and responsible for full spectrums of purchasing functions. Continuously develop and improve the procurement processes. Evaluate vendors’ performance annually by monitoring of ETA´s, KPIs Verify with vendors for any discrepancies on Invoices; Pricing Benchmarks and updating it in the Netsuite. To ensure all required items for production are purchased on time to meet delivery schedule. To issue PO to suppliers, keying in, filing and monitoring outstanding PO. Timely and accurate processing of Purchase Order and RFQ/RFI/RFP to supplier upon approval of purchase requisition(PR). Support procuring activities either in assigned sort centres, stations, regional warehouses and NBU. Perform sourcing activities, commercial negotiation, purchase verification, specification required and price comparison until it is being evaluated and finalized. Responsible for adhering to the compliance of ISO quality management system and coordinating improvement on processes in the procurement department. Supervise junior executive procurement processes and procurements records to ensure database is up to date. Assists in the development, and continuous improvement of Quality System (QMS) that are aligned with regulations and Company’s policies. Ensure tender compliance by adhering to all predetermined tender processes and timelines. Source and select vendors with the best pricing, quality, and lead time, including backup vendors to mitigate supply risks. Ensure purchase orders and invoices are accurate and matched before submission to Finance for payment processing. Prevent overpayment to vendors through proper verification and controls. Ensure supplies are delivered within stipulated lead times to avoid operational disruptions. Evaluate vendors based on pricing, quality, and delivery speed to support business operational needs. Achieve cost savings by reviewing high-spend items and conducting market research for alternative suppliers. Reduce overall procurement spending without compromising product or service quality. Assist task given by a superior from time-to-time
Job Requirement:: Minimum bachelor's in any relevant discipline At least 2 years of working experience in procurement. Experience in the logistics or e-commerce industry is preferred. Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa. Additional languages such as Mandarin will be advantageous.
