Scopely is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join an unannounced title based in our Shanghai office (5 days in the office). What You Will Do We are looking for a highly technical, product-minded, and execution-driven Technical Program Manager to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and ensure high-quality delivery of our game and platform systems. You will partner closely with business partners, product, legal, design, engineering, operations, QA and other cross functional stakeholders to drive programs from concept through release, balancing product goals, technical constraints, and operational excellence. This role requires strong product thinking, technical judgment, and execution rigor. You will bring structure to ambiguous problems, help shape scope and priorities, align internal and external stakeholders, and drive successful delivery across a broad set of teams and partners. You will also create visibility through clear planning, documentation, milestone management, and execution tracking using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Partner with product managers to refine requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and break large initiatives into actionable milestones that maximize business value and delivery efficiency Coordinate release milestones across internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, dependencies, and delivery commitments Work closely with engineering teams on technical constraints, sequencing, architecture considerations, and implementation trade-offs Identify and resolve execution risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies throughout development Collaborate with QA teams on test strategy, release validation, and launch quality Drive coordination with stakeholders across Legal, Partnerships, Publishing, Marketing, Operations, and external partners to support successful launches and operational readiness Support app submission, certification, compliance, and release processes across distribution channels and platform partners Communicate priorities, timelines, risks, and progress clearly to stakeholders and leadership Maintain project documentation, release schedules, and execution tracking using tools such as Jira and Confluence Improve workflows, release processes, and cross-functional coordination to increase delivery quality and team efficiency

What You Will Need

BS or MS degree in Communications, Operations, Engineering or equivalent job experience.  5+ years of experience in software program management. Experience communicating across functions with engineers, designers, product managers, development partners, marketing, legal, and executive teams. Product & Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate closely with product managers to shape requirements, prioritize scope, and balance business objectives with technical constraints. Experience coordinating initiatives across a diverse set of stakeholders, including engineering, QA, publishing, legal, design, marketing, external partners, and platform operators. Technical Depth: Strong understanding of software architecture and designs, with the ability to break down complex technical problems, identify risks and dependencies, and engage engineers in discussions on trade offs, edge cases, and failure scenarios. Program Management and Execution: Proven ability to drive complex technical programs end to end. Skilled at breaking down large initiatives into clear milestones, defining dependencies, and tracking execution at a detailed level. Strong documentation skills and proficiency with tools like Jira (or similar) to organize work, track progress, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams. Release Management: Experience releasing and managing applications in all major App Stores. Hands on experience managing software releases. Ability to create detailed release plans, anticipate risks, and ensure smooth, high quality launches. QA Understanding: Solid understanding of QA processes, test planning, and release validation. Experience collaborating with QA teams to define test strategies and ensure coverage of edge cases and failure scenarios. Excellent verbal English communication
