We are working with one of the world’s most recognised sports and entertainment organisations with a massive global fan ecosystem and premium media rights portfolio.The Tech/AI New Business & Content Partnerships Lead for GP & GCMD, APAC will drive the development of marketing and content partnerships with connected, immersive, and AI-driven technology platforms across Asia, with a particular focus on Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Chinese platforms (for deals outside of China).This hybrid GP + GCMD role will focus on building strategic partnerships within the immersive and connected technology ecosystem to maximise revenue, expand audience reach, and deliver innovative fan engagement experiences.The individual will identify and cultivate relationships with major technology platforms across connected TV, immersive content, AI-enhanced experiences, AR/VR, and emerging technologies. They will work closely with local market and HQ teams to originate, structure, and close regional partnership deals.The role requires close collaboration with country leads, sponsorship, and distribution teams across APAC and Greater China, as well as partnership with global content and media teams based in U.S.In addition, the role will partner with marketing and commercial teams to identify opportunities where content distribution partnerships can evolve into broader marketing and strategic partnership initiatives.This individual will also work cross-functionally with global content distribution, digital, direct-to-consumer, programming, and production teams across Asia and the US to ensure partnerships are executed in line with global best practices, with seamless delivery, activation, and partner support.The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, commercially driven, and versatile media and partnerships executive who can play a key role in executing regional growth and distribution strategies, while driving new business opportunities across emerging technology and media ecosystems.Key Requirements:15+ years of experience within the immersive technology, digital platform, or media ecosystemStrong track record of originating and closing creative, strategic, and complex partnership dealsDemonstrated experience across business development, sales, and content distributionSolid commercial acumen with a strong understanding of contracts and licensing agreementsDeep understanding of the digital media landscape and emerging industry trendsWell-established network across international media, technology, and platform ecosystemsStrategic and analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate commercial opportunities effectivelyStrong financial acumen, including experience with commercial modelling and analysisConfident in developing and presenting strategic recommendations and deal proposals to senior stakeholdersExperience within mobile, content distribution, and social media environments preferredComfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment with occasional travel requirementsFluent in English; Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean language capabilities would be advantageousBachelor’s degree or equivalent required
