As we grow, we are building more of our own software and internal systems, and we need a passionate, commercially-minded Product Manager to take ownership of that journey.This is not a role for someone who simply takes instructions and manages timelines. Define and Measure ValueDefine ROI metrics and success criteria for every system before development begins, and track outcomes post-launch.Evaluate whether existing tools are delivering their intended value, and recommend improvements or retirement where appropriate.Connect technology investment decisions to clear, measurable business outcomes.Maintain visibility overdevelopment costs and work within agreed budget parameters, balancing ambition with financial discipline.2. Understand the Business DeeplyWork closely with stakeholders across the Group to uncover real needs, pain points, and opportunities — not just surface-level requests.Translate business requirements into clear product specifications that your technology team can act on confidently.Facilitate workshops, interviews, and reviews to ensure shared understanding at every stage.Evaluate and recommend third-party tools or SaaS platforms where building internally is not the right answer, and manage vendor relationships where applicable.3. Lead with Initiative, Not Just ProcessGo beyond gathering requirements — actively propose alternative approaches, challenge assumptions, and surface solutions the business may not yet have considered.Identify opportunities to automate workflows, reduce manual work, and improve how our teams operate day to day.Think cross-system: understand how different platforms and data flows connect, and ensure new systems integrate sensibly with what already exists.Stay curious about industry trends and emerging tools that could benefit the Group.4. Deliver with the Technology TeamOwn the product roadmap and prioritise the backlog based on business value, effort, and strategic fit.Partner closely with developers, architects, and QA to ensure requirements are well understood and faithfully implemented.Lead end-to-end delivery — managing scope, timelines, risks, and communication with stakeholders throughout.Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Maintain clear and up-to-date product documentation, system specifications, and user guides — ensuring knowledge is never locked in someone’s head.5. Build with Compliance and Security in MindCollaborate with the compliance team to ensure all systems adhere to relevant MAS guidelines, PDPA requirements, and internal data governance policies.Embed privacy-by-design and security-by-design principles into every product from the outset — not as an afterthought.Ensure appropriate access controls, audit trails, and data handling practices are defined as part of system requirements.Proactively flag regulatory or compliance considerations during product planning, before they become costly problems downstream.6.  Champion User ExperienceAdvocate for good design in everything we build — systems that are intuitive, efficient, and a pleasure to use.Apply a discerning eye for UI and UX when reviewing prototypes and builds, raising issues early and suggesting practical improvements.Involve end-users in usability testing and weave their feedback meaningfully into the product cycle.7.  Drive Adoption and Manage ChangeOwn the rollout plan for every system launch — including communications, training, and support materials for end-users.Anticipate and manage resistance to change, working with team leads and stakeholders to bring people along on the journey.Track adoption metrics post-launch and act on low uptake proactively, rather than assuming a shipped feature equals a used one.Manage the full product lifecycle thoughtfully — including versioning, release planning, and eventual sunset or migration when systems need to be replaced.To succeed in this role, you will be someone who:Brings the Right ExperienceHas a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in an equivalent role — ideally within an organisation that builds software internally.Has a demonstrated track record of delivering products or systems that achieved real, measurable business outcomes.Is comfortable working within Agile, Scrum, or iterative delivery frameworks.Has experience managing or coordinating third-party vendors or SaaS platforms alongside internally developed systems.Holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications (e.g. CSPO, PMP, PMI-ACP) are a bonus.Has the Skills to Make an ImpactCan translate complex business needs into clear, actionable product requirements —without losing the nuance.Communicates with confidence and clarity, whether presenting to leadership or working through a technical problem with a developer.Thinks commercially, with a strong sense of how technology investments connect to business value.Is outcomes-focused: measures success by real-world impact, not by features shipped.Is proficient in product and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar).Has enough working knowledge of software development and system integrations to hold informed, grounded conversations with engineering teams.Has a genuine appreciation for UX and UI principles, and an eye for when something just does not feel right.Understands the importance of documentation and treats it as part of the job, not a chore left for later.Brings the Right CharacterIs proactive and self-driven — you do not wait to be told there is a problem; you are already working on the solution.Is a strong team player who can work with diverse stakeholders across the business with patience and good humour.Possesses integrity, accountability, and the drive to see things through.Cares about the people who will use the systems you build — not just the systems themselves.Approaches compliance and data responsibility seriously, understanding that in a financial services context, trust is everything.Preferred BackgroundHas experience in financial services, professional services, or a multi-entity Group structure.Is familiar with MAS regulations, PDPA, or data governance frameworks relevant to financial advisory firms.Is familiar with data analytics, reporting dashboards, or business intelligence tools.Has exposure to low-code / no-code platforms and the judgement to know when to use them.Has experience with system integration concepts (APIs, data pipelines, middleware) at a product level.
