Data Engineer

looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and optimise scalable cloud-based data platforms that support enterprise data and AI initiatives. You will work on modern data architectures, develop robust data pipelines, and contribute to cloud-native data platform solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable cloud-based data platforms and architectures.Build, maintain and optimise ETL/ELT data pipelines for performance and reliability.Develop Data Lakehouse solutions and ensure data quality through automated monitoring.Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system architecture.Support cloud platform operations using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud-native services.Ensure compliance with security, governance and data management standards.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and provide technical guidance to junior team members.Contribute to data platform architecture reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.At least 4 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture or cloud data platform implementation.Hands-on experience with SQL, Python and Apache Spark.Experience building production-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.Familiarity with technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow or similar tools.Good understanding of cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, distributed systems and cloud security principles.Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with AWS cloud services and related certifications.Exposure to Data Lakehouse, DataOps, MLOps or AI platform technologies.Experience with services such as AWS Glue, S3, Lake Formation, Amazon SageMaker or AWS Bedrock.Knowledge of data governance, metadata management and business intelligence tools.Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes along with a cover letter outlining their relevant experience and achievements to [email protected] or click apply now!**We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates would be notified**EA License No: 04C3537EA Personnel No: R22106683EA Personnel Name: Yang Hui Shan, Sherri
