AI Engineer（Senior Level）

Job description：Lead the design and optimization of search relevance, ranking, and overall user experience on the Mi.com platformArchitect and evolve end-to-end search systems, including query understanding, retrieval, ranking, and re-ranking pipelinesBuild scalable and production-ready ML systems for search, handling large-scale real-time and unstructured dataDevelop advanced query understanding capabilities (e.g., query rewriting, intent classification, semantic parsing)Optimize system performance across relevance, latency, and scalability dimensionsDeploy, monitor, and troubleshoot ML models in production environmentsMentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful search improvementsRequirement：Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field5+ years of experience in search, information retrieval, or large-scale ML systemsProficiency in Java with strong engineering fundamentalsHands-on experience building large-scale search or recommendation systemsFamiliarity with vector search infrastructure (e.g., FAISS or similar systems)Proven experience building scalable ML systems in production (training → deployment → monitoring → iteration)Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English, in order to support coordination and collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, teams, and business partners across regional markets.
