ACCOUNT DIRECTORBLKJ Havas is looking for an Account Director who sits at the heart of the agency — driving excellence in client partnership, strategic execution, and integrated delivery. You will lead key client accounts end-to-end, shaping impactful creative communications, guiding teams towards executional excellence, and ensuring strong commercial and operational outcomes.As an Account Director, you act as a trusted partner to clients, translating strategic insight into meaningful creative work that drives both brand and business results — while contributing to the agency’s ambition to deliver innovative, award winning campaigns that live in culture.Job Responsibilities:Client Partnership & Account Ownership• Lead senior client relationships and act as the accountable owner for all creative communication across your accounts.• Provide confident, strategic counsel that earns trust and credibility with both clients and internal stakeholders.• Translate client business objectives and strategic insight into clear, actionable communication and execution plans.Creative & Executional Excellence• Own the quality, integrity, and effectiveness of all work delivered to clients.• Lead implementation and production planning across campaigns, ensuring work is on brief, on time, and on budget.• Manage internal teams, specialist partners, and external agencies to deliver seamless, integrated work.• Champion creative strategy through execution and push teams to deliver work that inspires, engages, and drives commercial impact.Leadership, Standards & Performance• Lead and develop high performing teams through clear direction and prioritisation.• Push teams and partners beyond the brief, raising the bar across creative, delivery, and commercial outcomes.• Champion the BLKJ Havas standard – challenge mediocrity and consistently elevating the quality of every brief, idea, and execution.• Drive productivity and profitability through disciplined management of workload, resources, and expectations.• Build strong partnerships with specialist agencies to deliver seamless, integrated solutions.• Act as a solutions provider, unlocking new ideas, capabilities, and value.• Contribute to work that is award worthy, culture shaping, and commercially effective.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.• At least 6 years of experience in creative communications or integrated agency environments, with strong hands‑on exposure to agency tools, systems, and workflows.• Deep understanding of creative fundamentals, strategic planning, and integrated campaign development.• Proven ability to lead client-facing engagements with confidence, including presentations, workshops, and senior stakeholder discussions.• Solid understanding of marketing across ATL, BTL, digital, social, and integrated channels.• Strong curiosity for what’s next in marketing — including emerging media, technology, data, and AI — with the confidence to challenge conventions and push boundaries.• Experience working across Asian or regional markets in an agency context is a strong advantage.• A natural leader and people manager who inspires teams and is driven by delivering meaningful business and creative results.*Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Here at Havas, we pride ourselves on being committed to offering equal opportunities to all potential employees and have zero tolerance for discrimination.
