SAP Business Analyst (Data & Reporting)

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced SAP Business Analyst specializing in data analytics and reporting to support Finance and Procurement operations. The role involves translating business reporting requirements into actionable data specifications, working closely with Data Engineers and BI teams, and ensuring the accuracy of SAP-driven reports and dashboards.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with Finance and Procurement stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.Understand SAP Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Centres) and Procurement (PR, PO, GR, Invoice Verification) processes.Identify SAP tables, fields, data elements, and relationships relevant to business reporting and analytics.Prepare BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and source-to-target mapping documents.Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Architects on data pipelines, transformations, and data models.Define business rules, KPIs, metrics, and data quality requirements.Perform data analysis, source-to-target validation, and financial/procurement data reconciliation using SQL.Support functional testing, UAT, defect resolution, and business sign-off.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.Required Skills5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in SAP or Data & Analytics projects.Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO and MM modules.Good understanding of Finance, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.Knowledge of SAP data structures, tables, and relationships.Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and validation.Experience in source-to-target mapping, data dictionaries, and business rule documentation.Ability to work closely with Data Engineering, BI, and business teams.Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.Good to HaveExposure to Snowflake, Databricks, SAP HANA, or SAP BW.Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.Understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling.Experience with Agile methodology, Jira, and Confluence.Please send your detailed resume in MS Word format to [email protected] withEducation LevelWorking experiencesEach employment backgroundReason for leaving each employmentLast drawn salaryExpected salaryDate of availability
