We create editorially driven and visually impactful client-branded content, from animations to immersive and interactive digital experiences, mini-documentaries, and podcasts. Maintaining the FT tone of voice, FT Studio’s content sits naturally within the newspaper’s editorial environment.As Senior Content Producer at FT Studio, you will have exceptional storytelling and production skills. You will lead creative projects from ideation to completion, working collaboratively with various teams including writers, editors, video teams, and designers. This is a hands-on role for an experienced producer who can confidently represent the business in-market, make independent decisions, develop trusted regional partnerships and establish a scalable production operation across APAC.This role will be based in Singapore and work closely with FT colleagues in the region. It will report into an EP in London, liaising closely with the core team based there. Key ResponsibilitiesCreatively develop and lead multimedia projects from ideation to completion, with minimal guidance from an Executive Producer, including but not limited to documentaries, animations, podcasts, digital interactives, and articlesWork with an Executive Producer to execute the delivery of larger projects that require more oversightWork with clients and the Client Solutions team to develop a content strategy, creative and editorial direction, and establish clear project communicationAct as a content lead on campaigns, developing professional relationships with clients, and confidently discussing content ideasEnsure the content supports the client’s brand goals while upholding the values of the Financial TimesManage the end-to-end production process on multiple campaigns, collaborating with internal and external stakeholdersTroubleshoot multiple projects simultaneouslyWrite creative briefs for designersDevelop and write video scriptsDirect video shoots and post-production – this may require travel and flexible working hoursReview, test, and proofread content before sending to clientsStay up-to-date on global business trends and FT trending topicsDrive content innovation by staying on top of branded content trends and proposing original ideas and new formatsAdvise on social media and video analytics strategy where needed to assist in the performance of multimedia contentWork with Executive Producers and the Client Solutions team to assist in the ideation and development of content proposalsWork with the Global Client Services team to assist in the integration of new ways to serve clientsWork with Senior Production Manager to help develop effective workflows and processesActively contribute to FT Studio’s positive working culture by being a team playerRequired Skills / ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in video and digital content productionStrong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectivelyStrong understanding of journalistic storytelling and editorial processes, with the ability to translate complex subjects into compelling, audience-first contentDemonstrable experience developing content for business audiences, with a strong understanding of B2B communications and thought leadership.Experience working with clients in financial services, professional services, technology or other complex, regulated sectorsExpertise leading video teams, designers and developers to create video and digital contentStrong understanding of how editorial credibility and commercial objectives can be balanced to create high-quality branded contentProven track record of success working in a fast-moving agency setting or complex multi-stakeholder environment with a tolerance for ambiguityDegree or demonstrable interest or experience in a related field (e.g. Communications, Media Production, Journalism, Marketing)Excellent command of English; ability to speak any local languages in Asia is a plusPrevious working experience in the Asian Pacific region will be advantageousWhat’s in it for you?
