Job Description: AI EngineerAs an AI Engineer at D-SIMLAB Technologies, you will work on the development and deployment of AI-driven software solutions for world-leading semiconductor manufacturers. You will be involved in applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and software engineering techniques to solve complex manufacturing and operational challenges.This role goes beyond model development. You will work closely with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and customers to translate real-world business and manufacturing requirements into practical AI solutions. You will also gain valuable exposure to client consultation, solution deployment, and international semiconductor manufacturing environments.Key Responsibilities1. AI/ML Solution DevelopmentDesign, develop, and implement AI and machine learning solutions to address real-world problems in semiconductor manufacturing.Develop and optimize machine learning models, algorithms, and data-driven solutions for areas such as production optimization, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, forecasting, and process improvement.Experiment with different AI/ML approaches and evaluate model performance, accuracy, scalability, and robustness.Translate business and manufacturing requirements into practical AI solutions.2. AI Product Development & IntegrationIntegrate AI/ML models into D-SIMLAB's existing software products and simulation platforms.Develop AI-powered features and intelligent automation capabilities to enhance product functionality and user experience.Work closely with Software Engineers to design APIs, services, and software components required for AI model deployment.Contribute to the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, from data preparation and model development to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.3. Data Processing & AnalysisCollect, clean, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets generated from semiconductor manufacturing environments.Identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies in manufacturing data.Develop efficient data pipelines and preprocessing workflows to support AI/ML applications.Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability for model development and production use.4. Generative AI & Emerging TechnologiesExplore and evaluate emerging AI technologies, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents, where relevant to business and customer needs.Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to assess the practical application of new AI technologies.Stay updated with the latest developments in AI/ML and identify opportunities to enhance D-SIMLAB's products and solutions.5. Software Engineering & AI DeploymentDevelop and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performance software components supporting AI applications.Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, debugging, code review, and CI/CD.Deploy AI/ML solutions in production and customer environments.Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize the performance and reliability of deployed AI solutions.6. Client Consultation & Project DeliveryWork directly with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements.Provide technical consultation on the application and implementation of AI and data-driven solutions.Support the deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of solutions at semiconductor manufacturing sites.Communicate technical concepts and AI solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.7.
