If you receive a suspicious email or message, please do not respond and report it immediately to us.Location: Remote (USA & Canada only) Annual Salary: 70,000 - 90,000 Type: Full-Time Reports to: Director of Retail Strategy The Role We are seeking a Retail Operations Manager to join our Retail Strategy team at Nex. As a Retail Operations Manager, you will support Nex Playground’s expansion in the US and globally. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing operational projects to expand Nex Playground to new retailers and improve our relationships with existing partners. You will work closely with the retail team to bring Nex Playground to new markets through operational tasks and administrative follow-ups. You will partner closely with our Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Experience, Design teams and external partners to manage retail expansions, promotional programs, and maintain retail relationships globally. The position requires forward planning, strong communication capabilities, and ability to work cross functionally with teams in multiple time zones. What You’ll Do
Facilitate and support Nex Playground’s retail partnerships through management of contracts, product distribution workflows, documentation, and regular partner meetings. Track and manage project timelines, workback schedules, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution of product launches, promotions, and new market expansions. Manage retail portals and vendor relationships**, budget processing, and purchase orders** needed for Nex Playground expansion within existing and new retail partnerships. Strategize with retail team and other key Nex stakeholders to implement and improve upon operational workflows and processes involved in establishing retail partnerships, maintaining retail partnerships, and delivering product within online and in-person stores. Analyze retail performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine merchandising strategies and increase brand awareness. Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and timelines to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in retail strategy and operations, e-commerce merchandising, or related fields, preferably in consumer electronics, gaming, or interactive entertainment. Strong understanding of shopper behavior, retail merchandising execution. Experience with category management, buyer relations, and retail operations with major retailers and warehouse clubs. Familiarity with global retail guidelines and execution processes. Ability to manage multiple complex merchandising projects, balancing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration. Exceptional project management, organizational, and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external retail partners. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. We Offer
