About the Team Meesho is the most downloaded e-commerce app in India. As part of the core Business and Product-Experience team, we are taking a massive leap from a purely transactional e-commerce platform to a destination for visual discovery and personal inspiration. We are building a Pinterest-like immersive feed inside the Meesho app, focused on look-based, trend-based, and highly personalized inspiration across major lifestyle categories like Fashion, Home, and Beauty. Our team holds the end-to-end responsibility to figure out the supply of engaging content, establish content partnerships, and solve complex discovery and ranking problems to scale daily active users (DAU). We focus on personal growth, high-impact innovation, and thinking 10x. About the Role As a Senior Manager for the Content Commerce team, you will be the driving force behind how millions of users organically discover trends and find personal inspiration on Meesho. This is a 0-to-1 charter where you will solve the dual challenge of Content Supply and Algorithmic Ranking/Discovery. You will own user engagement, DAU growth, and content-to-commerce conversion metrics by ensuring our feed surfaces highly relevant, visually stunning, and localized content.
What you will do : What you will do:
0-to-1 Strategy & Vision: Own the long-term (3Y) and mid-term (6M) strategic planning for the content feed charter, operating with a "Think 10x" mindset.
Content Supply & Partnerships: Figure out and scale the supply of high-quality, trend-based visual content. Establish partnerships with creators, influencers, or content syndicates to seed the platform.
Discovery & Ranking Optimization: Collaborate heavily with Data Science and Product teams to build and refine ranking systems that surface the right looks and trends based on individual user preferences.
Cohort-Based Engagement: Deeply understand different user cohorts across India to curate and personalize feeds, driving higher daily active usage (DAU) and long-term retention.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the bridge between Content Creators, Category Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Seller Experience teams to seamlessly turn inspiration into purchasing behavior.
What you will need : What you will need Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5–8 years of experience in product-led growth, content ecosystem management, or digital discovery platforms. Target Background: Prior experience working with Pinterest (Active India team or relocated talent), or leading trend-based, visual-first platforms (e.g., Instagram shopping, Myntra Studio, Roposo, or similar content-to-commerce startups) is highly preferred. Problem-Solving & Grit: Strong analytical aptitude and a proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous discovery and ranking problems. Execution Bias: A true hustler with a strong bias for speed and execution, capable of multitasking and tactical delivery in a fast-paced environment. Mindset: Passion for "Problem First Solving" (PFS) and the ability to build 0-to-1 scalable business models.
