The role is focused on a major global beauty brand in the first year, supporting regional coordination, driving consistency across markets, and strengthening WPP’s position as a strategic partner for advocacy and influencer transformation. This is an individual contributor role requiring leadership through influence across a complex, multi-market environment. Reporting to: Global Head of Client Solutions / Global VP, Group Solutions Dotted line: Goat APAC Leadership Skills & ExperienceClient Leadership & Strategy Act as the primary strategic advisor to regional senior client stakeholders on influencer and advocacy topics Build strong relationships with regional client leadership and position WPP as a trusted partner Help shape and evolve the Advocacy 2.0 framework in collaboration with regional and global leadership Support definition of strategic direction and priorities for a key beauty client across APAC Market Guidance & Consistency Provide strategic direction to markets and guide implementation of advocacy and influencer frameworks Drive consistency in approach, frameworks, and best practices across markets Support markets in structuring strategic responses and elevating overall quality of output Act as a point of escalation and guidance on complex or high-priority initiatives Pitch & Growth Support Support key regional and global pitches involving influencer, advocacy, or social commerce Contribute to the development of strategic responses for major client opportunities Help identify opportunities to expand our client partnership across markets and services Collaboration: Work closely with regional leadership (strategy, client, product) to align priorities and approachesRole Requirements: Senior client leadership experience within agency, consulting, or marketing environment Strong strategic mindset with ability to structure complex problems and guide clients and markets Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across regional organisations Solid understanding of the influencer and/or affiliate ecosystem Experience working across multiple markets or in regional roles Strong communication and presentation skills Behaviours and Skills: Client Leadership: Builds trust with senior stakeholders and acts as a strategic partner Strategic Thinking: Ability to define clear frameworks and guide decision-making Influence & Collaboration: Works effectively across teams without direct authority Adaptability: Navigates varying levels of market maturity and complexity Communication: Delivers clear, structured, and impactful messaging Life at WPP Media & Benefits Our passion for shaping the next era of media includes investing in our employees to help them do their best work, and we’re just as committed to employee growth as we are to responsible media investment.
