Roles & Responsibilities – AI Engineer (Automation / Smart Factory)Design, develop, and deploy AI / Machine Learning models to support automation and smart manufacturing systems.Analyze large datasets from machines, sensors, and operations to generate insights and predictive analytics.Build and optimize computer vision systems for inspection, quality control, and defect detection.Develop predictive maintenance models to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.Integrate AI solutions with automation systems, PLCs, IoT devices, and production software.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model tuning to improve performance and accuracy.Deploy and maintain AI models in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.Monitor model performance and continuously improve algorithms and system efficiency.Maintain proper documentation of models, data pipelines, and system architecture.Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and company policies.Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and industrial automation technologies.
