Role OverviewOur client helps brands engage technical audiences through credible creator partnerships and community-led programs. We are looking for a Mandarin-speaking Creator Manager to own creator and community engagement within Chinese-speaking developer and technical communities.This role sits at the intersection of creator management, community building, and audience intelligence. You will discover trusted voices, manage creator relationships end-to-end, and translate community insights into programs that drive consideration and adoption. Because the role centres on Chinese-speaking developer and technical communities, professional proficiency in Mandarin is a genuine requirement of the position, used daily to engage Mandarin-speaking creators, participate in Chinese-language communities, and produce and review bilingual content.Key Responsibilities 1. Creator Discovery & Relationship Management: You will be the team's expert on Chinese-speaking creator and developer ecosystems.Identify creators, contributors, and technical voices across Chinese-language platforms and communitiesConduct creator research using community participation, content quality, technical credibility, and open-source contribution signalsVerify creator identity, expertise, and audience relevance before making recommendationsBuild and maintain relationships with creators across key audience segmentsGrow a sustainable creator pipeline that can be activated across multiple campaigns2. Bilingual Creator DeliveryManage creators through the full content development process while ensuring cultural and technical accuracy.Translate and adapt campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, and creator guidelines into Mandarin and bilingual formatsManage creator communications throughout briefing, content development, review, and publicationReview content for clarity, accuracy, and audience relevanceEnsure disclosure and platform compliance requirements are metAct as a bridge between internal teams, clients, and creators3. Community Insight & Audience IntelligenceStay close to relevant Chinese-speaking technical communities to identify emerging creators, audience trends, and community insightsSurface observations and audience signals that improve creator selection and campaign performanceTranslate community insights into programs that drive consideration and adoptionCandidate ProfileRequired Experience2–4 years in creator management, community management, developer marketing, or related fieldsProfessional working proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) alongside strong English communication skills required to engage Mandarin-speaking creators and Chinese-language technical communities, and to produce and review Mandarin/bilingual contentDeep familiarity with Chinese-language social platforms, creator ecosystems, and online communitiesStrong research and verification skills with high attention to detailConfidence managing multiple creator relationships and workstreams simultaneouslyAn interest in technology, software, startups, or developer audiencesComfortable understanding technical content and assessing whether creators are credible practitioners in their field (an engineering background is not required)Bonus ExperienceExisting relationships within Singapore's Chinese-speaking technology, startup, or open-source communitiesExperience organising community events, workshops, or meetupsFamiliarity with GitHub, open-source ecosystems, or developer-focused research workflowsExperience working with technical creators or B2B technology brandsSuccess Metrics (First 6 Months)Built a high-quality roster of trusted creators within Chinese-speaking technical communitiesImproved our client's ability to reach and engage audiences that traditional influencer programs often missEstablished repeatable creator sourcing and verification practices for the segmentGenerated actionable community insights that influence campaign strategy and executionBecome the go-to expert on Chinese-speaking creator and developer communities within the agencyThe Talent People Pte Ltd.
