Software Engineer (AI)

We’re looking for a Software Engineer (AI) to contribute to building secure digital services powered by modern search and Generative AI. You’ll work with an experienced team to develop reliable, scalable solutions and improve their performance and quality.Why Join Us:Enjoy the Flexibility of Hybrid Work ArrangementsBuild High-Impact Digital ServicesBasic Salary Up to S$10,500 + AWSKey Responsibilities:Contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable search and AI-powered applications.Help build features using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search and vector databases.Support the evaluation and monitoring of AI solutions, including data governance and security considerations.Work with the team to balance performance, cost, reliability and accuracy.Write and maintain automated tests, and contribute to CI/CD, DevOps and code quality improvements.Collaborate with product, design and delivery teams to understand requirements and resolve technical challenges.Take part in technical discussions, code reviews and continuous improvement activities.To Succeed:Min. 4 years of experience developing and maintaining web applications.Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript, plus cloud platforms, SQL or NoSQL databases, CI/CD and DevOps practices.Experience building or contributing to search systems, semantic or vector search, or RAG solutions.Experience integrating LLMs into applications, ideally in a production environment.Understanding of AI evaluation, responsible AI, security and data governance.Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating technical ideas to stakeholders.By submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy (scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).This authorizes us to:Contact you about potential opportunities.Delete personal data as it is not required at this application stage.All applications will be processed with strict confidence.
