Mission of the RoleWe are looking for a highly driven Senior Sales Consultant to lead business development and hunting activities across Singapore and selected APAC markets.The role is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth from net new customers within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will execute strategic sales initiatives, build strong industry relationships, and develop a sustainable pipeline to achieve ambitious growth targets.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Pipeline Generation• Promote the HPS brand, increase market awareness of HPS capabilities and solutions.• Represent HPS values and professionalism in all external engagements. Job Description: Senior Sales Consultant, Singapore / APAC• Identify, engage, and qualify prospective customers within the assigned territory.• Build strong relationships and credibility with key stakeholders and decision-makers.• Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, customer needs, and competitive environment.• Leverage existing networks and establish new relationships to access relevant stakeholders within target organizations.• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive hunting and networking activities.Sales Execution & Revenue Generation• Develop and articulate compelling value propositions tailored to customer needs.• Lead customer presentations, workshops, proposals, and commercial discussions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.• Own and drive complex sales cycles from opportunity qualification through negotiation and contract closure.• Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate internal alignment to ensure successful deal execution.• Ensure smooth transition and handover to Account Management and Delivery teams following contract signature.Territory Strategy & Market Development• Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve sales targets.• Work closely with Marketing and regional leadership to refine go-to-market approaches.• Identify emerging market opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives across the region.Reporting & Sales Governance• Maintain accurate sales forecasting, opportunity tracking, and pipeline reporting.• Ensure disciplined utilization of Salesforce throughout the sales lifecycle.• Provide regular updates and insights into Sales Management on market trends, customer feedback, and commercial activities.Required Skills & Expertise• Proven track record in Sales Hunting and Business Development roles within the technology, fintech, or payments industry.• Strong understanding of the Payments ecosystem, including Cards, Issuing, Acquiring, Switching, and Digital Payments.• Experience in Banking Software, Fintech, or Payment Technology is highly preferred.• Demonstrated experience managing complex solution sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.• Strong network within the banking and financial services industry, ideally within Payments.• Excellent relationship-building, networking, and stakeholder management capabilities.• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive opportunities from origination to closure.• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels.• Strong presentation, communication, and proposal development skills.• High level of professionalism, organizational capability, and interpersonal effectiveness.• Strong multicultural awareness and ability to operate effectively in international environments.• Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia as required.Profile & Qualifications• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales and Business Development roles.• Experience working within matrix and international organizations.• Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.• Additional regional languages such as Mandarin or others are considered a strong advantage.
