About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior AI AlgorithmEngineer to join our AI Research & Development team. In this role, you willdesign, develop, and optimize advanced AI algorithms for game AI applications,leveraging cutting-edge techniques in game theory, reinforcement learning, anddeep learning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to buildscalable, high-performance AI systems for production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize game AI solutions based on advanced game-theoretic algorithms, including Monte Carlo Counterfactual Regret Minimization (MCCFR), Deep CFR, Neural Fictitious Self-Play (NFSP), and related approaches.Develop sequence modeling and prediction solutions using Transformer, LSTM, GRU, or similar deep learning architectures.Implement and optimize game-theoretic and reinforcement learning algorithms for large-scale state spaces, ensuring computational efficiency, scalability, convergence, and real-time performance.Research, evaluate, and apply emerging machine learning technologies to enhance AI agents and continuously improve existing AI systems.Optimize AI model performance through algorithm refinement, experimentation, and performance tuning.Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and researchers to deploy AI solutions into production environments.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. A Master's degree or PhD will be an advantage.At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in machine learning, reinforcement learning, game AI, or related fields.Hands-on experience with sequence modeling techniques, including Transformer, LSTM, GRU, or similar neural network architectures, with practical project experience in NLP, time-series forecasting, or related applications.Strong knowledge of reinforcement learning algorithms such as PPO, DQN, and SAC, with practical experience or solid understanding of CFR-based algorithms, including MCCFR, Deep CFR, NFSP, or related methods.Proficient in C++ and Python programming.Experience working with large-scale datasets and data processing frameworks.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to communicate in Chinese (spoken and written) is required, as this role involves regular collaboration with Chinese-speaking engineering teams and reviewing technical documentation prepared in Chinese.Preferred QualificationsCandidates with one or more of the following will have anadvantage:Experience developing AI for strategic games or other complex decision-making environments.Experience applying game-theoretic algorithms in commercial products.Experience in recommendation systems, data mining, intelligent decision-making systems, or large language model (LLM) applications.Publications, patents, open-source contributions, or research experience in machine learning, reinforcement learning, game AI, or related fields.
