Lalamove’s Analytics team is the engine behind our real-time, data-driven marketplace. We don’t just measure performance; we build the quantitative foundation that enables a highly efficient, liquid, and competitive on-demand logistics ecosystem. We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive professional to drive pricing analysis, execution, and marketplace optimization. In this role, you will partner with the Platform Growth function and cross-functional stakeholders to implement optimal, competitive, and profitable pricing. You will leverage advanced analytics to solve complex marketplace challenges and help us win in the market.
What we seek:: Drive Competitive Intelligence & Pricing Strategy: Manage the monitoring and benchmarking of competitor pricing activity. Translate raw market data into data-backed pricing recommendations and actions. Implement Pricing Execution: Drive the rollout of surcharge structures, surge pricing, promotional incentives, and dynamic pricing models to balance marketplace liquidity, driver supply, and customer affordability. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze complex datasets to model price elasticity, identify demand patterns, and spot competitive gaps. Recommend and execute pricing adjustments to optimize both volume and yield. Reporting & Stakeholder Alignment: Deliver rigorous reporting and actionable insights to management. Define key marketplace metrics and help build narratives that guide regional and global strategies. Process Optimization: Identify structural gaps and automation opportunities within existing markets. Evolve and improve current pricing logic to keep pace with a rapidly changing competitive landscape.
What you'll need:: Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum 4 years of solid experience in data analytics in pricing, revenue management, or marketplace optimization. Advanced SQL and Python skills, alongside expert proficiency in Excel. Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is required. Solid understanding of multiple-sided marketplace dynamics, including surge pricing, incentive optimization, and price sensitivity. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly as the business scales and competitive dynamics shift. Proven experience managing complex data projects and the ability to effectively communicate and partner with mid-to-senior stakeholders across functions.
