AI Security Engineer

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled AI Security Engineer/ Specialist to lead the protection of our artificial intelligence infrastructure, operational technologies (OT), and proprietary engineering algorithms. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional cybersecurity and cutting-edge AI governance. You will design, implement, and oversee security frameworks that protect our smart manufacturing systems, predictive maintenance models, and enterprise AI tools from emerging threats like adversarial machine learning, data poisoning, and prompt injection.Key ResponsibilitiesAI Threat Modeling & Risk AssessmentGovernance & ComplianceOperational Technology (OT) & Infrastructure SecurityIncident Response & CollaborationRequirements & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, or an Engineering discipline.Min. 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 1-2 years focused specifically on AI/ML security.Experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or heavy tech sectors will be a plus.Technical SkillsDeep understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and large language model (LLM) architectures.Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and adversarial ML attack vectors.Proficiency in programming languages used in data science, primarily Python and R.Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA) and how they intersect with IT environments, will be a plusCertifications (Advantageous)Relevant certs such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, CySA+, GIAC, CompTIA SecAI+ etc. will be highly desirable Certified Lead Implementer/Auditor for ISO/IEC 42001 (Artificial Intelligence Management System), or other AI-specific cybersecurity credentials will be a big plus
