AI Architect – Insurance AI Transformation ProgrammeContract Duration: 12 Months | Potential to ExtendRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI and GenAI solutions within a large-scale insurance transformation programme. This role will serve as the technical and strategic lynchpin between business stakeholders, product teams, data teams, and engineering functions.The successful candidate will define the AI architecture roadmap, drive AI solution governance, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant implementation across multiple insurance business domains.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine enterprise AI and GenAI architecture strategy aligned to business transformation objectivesDesign scalable AI solution frameworks, integration models, and deployment patternsLead architecture discussions across underwriting, claims, customer servicing, distribution, operations, and risk functionsEvaluate and recommend AI/LLM platforms, tooling, orchestration frameworks, and cloud technologiesWork closely with Product Owners and delivery squads to translate business requirements into AI-enabled solutionsEnsure alignment with enterprise security, governance, compliance, and responsible AI standardsDrive AI operating model design and implementation across regional marketsProvide technical leadership and oversight across AI proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production deploymentsEngage senior business and technology stakeholders across multiple marketsRequired Experience10+ years of experience in enterprise technology architecture or digital transformationStrong experience within the insurance sectorProven hands-on delivery experience with AI / GenAI initiativesExperience with LLM ecosystems, AI orchestration, automation, or intelligent workflow platformsExperience designing cloud-native and enterprise-scale architecturesStrong stakeholder management and consulting capabilityExperience operating within regional or multi-market transformation programmesPreferred SkillsExposure to platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Databricks, LangChain, or similarKnowledge of responsible AI, AI governance, and regulatory considerationsFamiliarity with agile delivery methodologies and product operating modelsIdeal Candidate ProfileStrategic yet hands-onAble to operate across business and technical teamsComfortable working within ambiguity and transformation environmentsStrong communication and leadership capability
