Data Analyst

This is a fixed-term contract ending 31 December 2026.This role supports our client, a leading Southeast Asian superapp that offers a wide range of services, including mobility, food delivery, and digital payments.- You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the Product, Business, Engineering, Design, and Data Science functions to understand data requirements, identify and track key metrics, and provide data-driven insights. - You will also work with stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility of new business/product ideas and provide appropriate recommendations.The Critical Tasks You Will Perform• You will understand business requirements and desired outcomes to support data-driven decision-making.• You will conduct tailored analysis for specific products and operations, define critical business metrics, track them rigorously, and recommend continuous improvements.• You will frame business scenarios, conduct in-depth data analysis, and propose innovative product and feature ideas to address critical business processes and support decision-making.• You will transform requirements into concise insights through reports, presentations, and dashboards, and consolidate data from multiple sources to create comprehensive views for decision-making.• You will develop data pipelines and custom data science models to solve identified problems.• You will launch A/B tests, time slice experiments, conduct causal inference studies, analyze results, and provide recommendations based on your findings.Essential Skills and Qualifications:• You have at least 4 years of experience in data-related or quantitative roles, preferably within D2C or B2C environments such as marketplace, e-commerce, omnichannel commerce, or retail marketing analytics.• You are proficient in SQL, Python, R, or other scripting/programming languages and have strong problem-solving skills. You have experience working with very large datasets and complex ETL processes.• You have strong knowledge of statistics and experimental design, with hands-on experience in designing, running, and analyzing controlled experiments to generate actionable insights.• You can solve complex problems by evaluating multiple approaches, taking ownership of ambiguous business challenges, and proposing innovative solutions beyond common practice.• You have exceptional skills in experimental design, data visualization, and data storytelling, and are proficient in creating intuitive and impactful dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.• You can effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.Note: We are committed to fair and merit-based employment practices in accordance with Singapore's Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices.
