More details as below.Job Role:Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Network Engineer (CCNP Certified) to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, routing and switching, network security, and troubleshooting complex enterprise environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure high network availability, performance, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center network infrastructure.Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls.Manage and support Cisco technologies including Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, and ASR platforms.Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and static routing.Configure Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and trunking.Implement high-availability solutions including HSRP, VRRP, and redundancy mechanisms.Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity and performance issues.Perform network capacity planning, upgrades, firmware updates, and patch management.Troubleshoot complex network incidents and perform root cause analysis.Work with security teams to implement network security policies and firewall configurations.Support VPN connectivity including Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN.Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, configuration backups, and operational procedures.Participate in disaster recovery planning and network resilience initiatives.Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and internal stakeholders for network-related projects.Provide Level 2 and Level 3 network support during incidents and maintenance activities.Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support when required.Required Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & SwitchingCCNP Certification (Enterprise preferred)Cisco Catalyst and Nexus SwitchesCisco ISR and ASR RoutersLAN/WAN TechnologiesRouting Protocols:BGPOSPFEIGRPStatic RoutingSwitching Technologies:VLANSTPEtherChannelTrunkingHigh Availability:HSRPVRRPWireless NetworkingCisco Wireless LAN ControllersVPN TechnologiesNetwork Monitoring ToolsDNS, DHCP, and IP Address ManagementQoS ConfigurationNetwork Security Best PracticesPreferred SkillsExperience with Cisco Firepower or Cisco ASA Firewalls.Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies.Familiarity with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine).Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.Exposure to cloud networking in AWS or Azure.Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Cisco DNA Center.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.5–8 years of enterprise networking experience.CCNP Enterprise Certification (mandatory/preferred).Additional certifications such as CCNA, Cisco SD-WAN, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto certifications are advantageCONSULTANT DETAILSConsultant Name: Abinaya R Reg No: R1765546 Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd EA Licence 12C5759 Privacy Statement: Data collected will be used for recruitment purposes only.
