IT Business Analyst & Project Manager – Asia Cross-Divisional ProgramsContract Duration: 12 months, with potential for extensionIndustry: Financial Services / Investment BankingRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a regional technology team within a leading global financial services organisation. The role will support technology initiatives across Asia, partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders across the Equities / Sales & Trading environment.The role will involve managing technology projects across the full project lifecycle, including business analysis, feasibility assessment, delivery, governance and implementation. The successful candidate will also contribute to initiatives leveraging AI, GenAI, automation and data analytics to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesManage technology projects supporting Sales & Trading / Equities businesses across Asia.Lead business analysis, feasibility assessments and project delivery from initiation through implementation.Partner with business, technology and product teams to manage a portfolio of technology initiatives.Deliver business expansion, regulatory change and product-related technology projects.Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Control functions on front-to-back delivery and testing.Identify and support opportunities to apply AI, GenAI, automation and data analytics to improve processes and decision-making.Manage project governance, reporting, risks, dependencies and stakeholder communication.Support prioritisation and pipeline management across multiple technology initiatives.Ensure adherence to project governance, technology risk, regulatory and AI-related controls.Requirements8+ years' experience in IT Project Management within Financial Services, Investment Banking or a major consulting firm.Strong experience managing technology projects within financial services, ideally supporting Sales & Trading or Equities.Good understanding of technology delivery, data flows, system integration and SDLC/PLC.Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.Experience with AI, GenAI, automation or data analytics in an enterprise environment is advantageous.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, changing priorities and complex/ambiguous requirements.Strong proficiency in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.Desirable ExperienceKnowledge of Asian financial markets and exchanges and relevant regulatory requirements.Experience across Equities, Derivatives and/or Securities Lending.Experience delivering large-scale regulatory change programmes within capital markets.Previous experience working within a global bank, investment bank or financial services consultancy.Argyll Scott Asia is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
