Job title: Senior Functional Business Analyst – Digital Banking & PaymentsEmployment type: ContractExperience: 5 + yearsDuration: 12 months, renewableWork arrangement: Onsite, Alexandra Building We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Business Analyst to support digital-banking transformation initiatives for a leading financial institution in Singapore. This is a 12-month renewable contract position requiring onsite work.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end functional business analysis for customer-facing digital-banking initiatives.Work with business, product, design, technology, operations and testing teams to define and deliver solutions.Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.Prepare BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and traceability documents.Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs and solution discussions with stakeholders.Manage requirements scope, changes, dependencies, risks and impact assessments.Analyse customer journeys, business rules, system integrations and upstream/downstream dependencies.Support digital-payment capabilities such as mobile wallets, card payments, payment controls, tokenisation and transaction journeys.Coordinate SIT and UAT planning, requirement clarification, defect triage and business sign-off.Assess operational impact and support implementation readiness, production rollout and post-launch stabilisation.Manage backlog refinement, sprint planning and delivery activities within an Agile environment.Ensure complete requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.Mandatory Requirements5 + years of experience as a hands-on Business Analyst or Functional Business Analyst.Strong recent experience delivering internet banking, mobile banking or other customer-facing digital-banking solutions.Experience across at least six complete project-delivery cycles.Strong hands-on experience preparing BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows.Experience managing requirements from discovery through implementation and production release.Strong knowledge of SIT, UAT, defect triage, change management and release readiness.Proven stakeholder-management experience across business and technology teams.Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills.Preferred ExperienceDigital payments, cards, mobile wallets, Apple Pay, Google Pay, tokenisation or payment controls.Wealth management, digital investments, equities trading or investment-product journeys.API integrations and upstream/downstream dependency analysis.Regional banking projects involving multiple markets.Experience working with a major bank in Singapore.This position requires recent hands-on Functional Business Analyst experience.
