Oriental Remedies Group (ORG) is looking for a hands-on, curious AI & Integration Engineer to join our technology team. You will sit at the intersection of software engineering, systems integration, and applied AI - building tools that make life easier for our physicians and patients, and laying the groundwork for AI-assisted clinical decision support across our clinics. This is a highly practical, build-and-ship role: you'll work directly with our clinic management system, third-party platforms, medical device data, and clinical staff to turn real operational problems into working software. We care far more about what you've actually built and shipped than about where you studied. If you can point to real systems you've integrated, real APIs you've worked with, and real AI/ML projects you've delivered, we want to hear from you. What You'll DoDesign and build web front-ends on top of back-end system APIs. For example, creating a patient-facing or staff-facing web interface for the appointment booking calendar in our clinic management system  using its available APIs.Build and maintain an integration between our clinic management system and SleekFlow, to automatically send patient invoices via WhatsApp.Fine-tune an LLM using de-identified clinical notes from our clinic management system to recommend TCM treatment options based on diagnostic data captured from medical devices.Design and build a web UI that presents these AI-generated recommendations to physicians, and captures physician feedback/decisions back into the clinic management system.Develop an algorithm to compute a proprietary wellness score that combines multiple data points into a single, meaningful patient metric.Work closely with physicians and clinic operations staff to understand workflows, translate them into technical requirements, and iterate quickly based on feedback.Own the full lifecycle of your projects: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. What We're Looking ForWe're prioritizing real, demonstrable experience over formal qualifications. You should have:A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with AI/ML technologies (e.g. building, fine-tuning, or deploying models; working with LLMs; applied machine learning projects).Solid, proven experience working with APIs consuming, integrating, and building around themExperience building web front-ends that connect to back-end systems or third-party APIs (any modern stack is fine - we care about your ability to ship a working, usable interface).Comfort working with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, and combining them into meaningful outputs.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, scope ambiguous problems, and propose practical solutions.Good communication skills - you'll be working directly with physicians and non-technical clinic staff, so the ability to translate between clinical needs and technical implementation is essential.Nice to HaveExperience with clinic management systems, EMR/EHR platforms, or healthcare IT systemsExperience integrating messaging/communication platforms such as SleekFlow, WhatsApp Business API, or similar.Experience fine-tuning or deploying large language models (LLMs), including data preparation and evaluation.Familiarity with medical or biometric device data or other sensor/IoT data. Background or working knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts is a bonus.Experience working in a healthcare or other regulated data environment, with an understanding of patient data privacy considerations. Why Join ORGWork on real, high-impact projects that directly shape how physicians and patients experience our clinics - not internal tooling that sits on a shelf.A rare opportunity to apply modern AI/LLM techniques to the traditional practice of TCM, building genuinely novel clinical decision-support tools.A collaborative environment where engineering, clinical, and operations teams work closely together.Ownership and autonomy - you'll be trusted to drive projects from concept to production. How to ApplyPlease send your resume to [email protected] along with examples of past projects (code samples, GitHub links, case studies, or a brief description of systems you've integrated or AI models you've built). We're especially interested in seeing what you've shipped, not just what you've studied.
