System Analyst, AI (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Dear Applicant,If you or someone you know is interested, please send the CV directly to [email protected] (most preferred, as I may overlook some CVs due to the high volume).Please note that visa sponsorship is not available at this time.Key Responsibilities• Analyse business requirements and translate them into solution designs, facilitating user requirement workshops and modelling end-to-end system transactions to ensure business needs are met.• Act as a hands-on techno-functional analyst to identify business issues and propose technical, strategic, and tactical solutions, process improvements, and functional requirements.• Analyse, design, and implement scalable Generative AI (GenAI) solutions and architectures to support business needs.• Evaluate and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into business processes and enterprise applications.• Analyse and propose solutions involving Agentic AI, including agent patterns, workflows, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).• Collaborate with infrastructure, application support, engineering, and other technology teams to deliver end-to-end system solutions.• Engage business stakeholders to understand priorities, gather requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend appropriate solutions.• Build strong relationships with users and stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery.• Assess proposed solutions critically to ensure they address business drivers, technical constraints, and operational needs.• Work with relevant technology teams to support the integration of GenAI capabilities into existing systems and business processes.Key Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.• At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within financial institutions or banking technology.• Experience in the financial industry, with a background in system analysis or core banking business processes, ideally involving GenAI solutions.• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, including agent patterns, types, workflows, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).• Fundamental understanding of LLM architecture, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning.• Experience evaluating and integrating LLMs such as LLaMA, DeepSeek, OpenAI, Gemini, or equivalent into business processes.• Experience designing and implementing scalable GenAI architectures and solutions using appropriate tools and frameworks.• Strong understanding of banking processes and functions.• Technical knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP.• Proficiency in Python.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to challenge proposed solutions and understand underlying business drivers.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.• Strong organisational, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.Nice to Have• Experience with OpenShift.• Practical experience implementing RAG, Agentic AI solutions, and the workflows required to build GenAI capabilities.
