Data Engineer / Analyst (AI & ML)

About the RoleWe are looking for a technically strong and analytically driven Data Engineer / Analyst to design, build, and maintain end-to-end data and AI/ML solutions. You will work across the full data lifecycle — from developing ETL pipelines and managing cloud platforms to deploying machine learning models and collaborating with stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes.What You Will DoData Engineering & AI/ML DevelopmentDesign, build, deploy, and maintain end-to-end data and AI/ML projects across big data and cloud platformsDevelop scalable and reliable ETL processes for ingesting and integrating large volumes of structured and unstructured data from on-premise and cloud sourcesBuild and manage enterprise data systems including data lakes, analytics platforms, and AI platformsProject & Product ManagementPerform project management and product owner activities for the development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise data systemsApply Agile methodology across the full development lifecycle — from requirements gathering and sprint planning through to testing and deploymentManage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations across concurrent workstreamsStakeholder Collaboration & InnovationCollaborate with business users, project teams, government agencies, and industry partners to explore and evaluate new AI/ML and data technologiesIdentify and develop deployable solutions that address operational needs and advance strategic goalsStay current with emerging data, AI, and cloud technologies — particularly Generative AI and LLM applicationsWhat We Are Looking ForDegree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline with strong quantitative contentHands-on experience in data analytics, data engineering, or AI/ML project developmentProficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, Scala, or SAS for data science and data processing applicationsStrong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologiesDemonstrable experience with data/ML techniques — data mining, data engineering, machine learning, natural language processing, or similarExperience with Generative AI technologies and LLM models is a strong advantageSingaporeans OnlyBy submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy (scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).This authorizes us to:Contact you about potential opportunities.Delete personal data as it is not required at this application stage.All applications will be processed with strict confidence.
