The company helps merchants and enterprises simplify global collections, multi-currency payments, foreign exchange (FX), and international fund management, enabling businesses to expand efficiently across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and beyond.Job SummaryWe are seeking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand cross-border payment solutions in Singapore and Southeast Asia. This role blends market strategy, customer engagement, product localisation, and partnership development to fuel regional growth instead of purely sales.ResponsibilitiesDrive expansion of cross-border payment solutions across Singapore and Southeast Asia to increase market share and revenueAnalyse customer business models and operational challenges to recommend tailored payment solutions that meet client needsConduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging fintech and cross-border payment opportunitiesCollaborate with Product, R&D, and cross-functional teams to localize and enhance payment products for regional marketsBuild and nurture strategic partnerships with merchants, platforms, and B2B businesses to support business growthSupport solution implementation and customer success by gathering and acting on customer feedback to improve productsContribute to customer acquisition, gross merchandise volume (GMV) growth, and overall business performance metricsWork independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple stakeholder relationships effectivelyPreferred competencies and qualificationsBachelor’s Degree or higherMinimum 5 years of experience in FinTech, cross-border payments, international banking, or related industriesStrong knowledge of cross-border payments, international trade, treasury operations, or cross-border e-commerceExperience collaborating with Product, Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams in customer-facing rolesStrong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills applied to business developmentGood understanding of the Singapore market with regional Southeast Asia exposure considered advantageousProficiency in Mandarin preferred to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and headquartersOther InformationLocation: Marina Bay Sands, Singapore (Hybrid)Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pmSalary: SGD 8,000 - SGD 10,000 (Negotiable based on experience)Opportunity to join a rapidly growing global fintech company with regional expansion prospectsHigh-impact role working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teamsClear career development opportunities as the Singapore business and regional team grow
