Data Product Manager

About the roleWe are looking for a highly organized and analytical Data Project Manager to lead our internal data initiatives across the company. This role sits at the intersection of business, product, and engineering. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and data engineers to transform business requirements into reliable datasets, dashboards, and actionable insights. You will own the roadmap for internal data projects, ensuring our Metabase and Amplitude environments provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.Key responsibilitiesPartner with leadership and business teams to understand reporting and analytics requirementsDefine and maintain company-wide KPIs across operations, product, finance, marketing, sales, customer success, and franchise operationsTranslate business questions into measurable metrics and data requirementsOwn the company's internal analytics ecosystem using Metabase and AmplitudeDesign reporting frameworks and ensure consistent metric definitions across the organizationBuild requirements for dashboards and reports that support both operational and product decisionsPartner with Product Managers to define product events, user funnels, retention metrics, engagement metrics, and feature adoptionLead multiple cross-functional data projects from planning through executionPrioritize competing data requests based on business value and strategic objectivesCoordinate work across business teams, product managers, software engineers, and data engineersAbout youBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field4–7 years of experience in project management, business intelligence, analytics, or product analyticsExperience managing cross-functional technical or data projectsHands-on experience with Metabase, Amplitude, or similar BI and product analytics platformsStrong understanding of KPI design, dashboard development, and business reportingBasic understanding of SQL and relational databasesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
