AI & Platform Engineer

Lucror Analytics, the #1 independent provider of European and Emerging Market high yield credit research, is seeking an AI and Platform Engineer to join its technology team in Singapore.The successful candidate will join a highly reputed research and analytics company with a presence across four continents and a global institutional client base comprising leading asset managers, hedge funds, investment banks and family offices.Lucror is expanding its AI, data and platform capabilities across credit research, fixed income analytics and workflow automation. This role is suited for an engineer who can work across AI-enabled applications, backend systems, data pipelines and platform integrations.About the JobYou will work closely with Lucror’s research, product and technology teams to build and maintain AI-enabled tools and scalable platform infrastructure.Responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining AI-powered applications, internal tools and platform features.Building and improving backend services, APIs, data pipelines and workflow automation.Working with large volumes of structured and unstructured financial, research and market data.Supporting the development of AI/NLP solutions for document processing, research automation, search, summarisation and analytics.Integrating third-party data sources, internal databases and cloud-based systems.Improving the reliability, performance, security and usability of Lucror’s technology platform.Collaborating with analysts and business users to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.Testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining production systems.Keeping up to date with developments in AI, machine learning, data engineering and cloud technologies.The role is:Entry-to-mid level, depending on experience.Based in Singapore.Suitable for candidates who enjoy working in a small, fast-moving and collaborative technology environment.What You’ll NeedDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong programming skills, preferably in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.Experience with backend development, APIs, databases and cloud-based systems.Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, large language models, NLP, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation or agentic workflows.Experience working with structured and unstructured data.Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.Interest in financial markets, fixed income, credit research or investment analytics would be an advantage, but prior financial experience is not required.Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms.SQL and NoSQL databases.Vector databases or semantic search.Document extraction, OCR or financial data processing.Data security, access controls and responsible AI practices.What We OfferOpportunity to work on practical AI applications in financial research and fixed income analytics.Exposure to institutional-grade credit research, ESG data and investment analytics.Option to work from home/remotely, subject to business needs.Excellent working conditions within a friendly and supportive team.Remuneration based on seniority, experience and annual performance reviews.Opportunity to contribute directly to the development of Lucror’s next-generation AI and analytics platforms.Find out more about Lucror: www.lucroranalytics.com.
