M04 - Software Quality Engineer (Test Automation)

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites for front-end UI, API, and performance testing.Enhance and extend existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage and reliability.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps Engineers.Establish QA standards, best practices, and automation strategies across the engineering team.Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers to review requirements, identify testability concerns, and define acceptance criteria.Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, distinguishing between application defects and test automation issues.Work closely with engineering teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.Evaluate and leverage GenAI tools to enhance testing processes, including test case generation, test data management, and test result analysis.Contribute to QA documentation, including testing frameworks, standards, processes, and best practices.Promote a quality-first engineering culture and advocate for test automation across the software development lifecycle.Requirements3–5 years of experience in QA Engineering or Test Automation with a strong focus on automated testing.Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests for UI, API, and performance testing.Experience with Java and/or JavaScript testing frameworks and ecosystems.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.Ability to evaluate, recommend, and adopt suitable QA tools and technologies.Experience establishing or contributing to QA standards, frameworks, and testing practices.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Experience working in Agile or iterative software development environments.Exposure to or interest in applying GenAI tools within software testing workflows.Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceKey skills: Test Automation, UI Testing, API Testing, Performance Testing, CI/CD, DevOps, Java, JavaScript, QA Frameworks, GenAI Testing Tools.
