NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group.As a Data Platform Architect, you will be responsible for designing and governing enterprise-scale data platform architectures while providing technical leadership in sales and delivery of complex projects. This role drives system-level design ensures architectural integrity across the software development lifecycle, and formulates scalable data migration and governance strategies using modern technologies such as GenAI and Agentic AI. The Data Architect also ensures that solutions are secure, reliable, and aligned with business and technical requirements.What will you do?Architecture & Solution DesignDefine system-level application architecture including design principles, policies, and controlsDevelop technical design specifications and implementation strategiesFormulate scalable data migration approaches and governance strategies using modern technologiesEnsure system design and development methodologies meet functional and system requirementsApply best practices, frameworks, and reusable components in project implementationsStakeholder Engagement & Technical AdvisorySupport large data solution bids with implementation planning and effort estimationParticipate in requirement analysis to validate technical feasibilityIdentify requirement gaps, technical challenges, and effort concerns while recommending viable solutionsEngage customers and stakeholders to explain architecture decisions and resolve technical issuesTechnical Leadership & Delivery OversightProvide technical leadership for highly complex projects involving modern technologies such as DataBricks, GenAIMaintain architectural control across the entire software development lifecycleMake architectural adjustments when necessary to ensure successful outcomesEstimate implementation effort and define sound implementation strategiesTroubleshoot complex technical problems faced by project teamsEngineering Practices & GovernanceEstablish programming guidelines, integration strategies, configuration controls, and risk mitigation approachesEnsure scalable, secure, and reliable architecture standards are followed across projectsSupport DevOps and MLOps aligned development practices within data platform environmentsKnowledge Leadership & Community ContributionCoach, train, and mentor other ArchitectsShare technology knowledge through Communities of Practice or internal forumsPackage and deliver advanced technical coursesContribute to internal knowledge repositories with lessons learnedParticipate in pre-sales solutioning and review technical proposalsRepresent the organization as a speaker or panelist at IT-related seminars or trade eventsThe ideal candidate should possess:Experience in developing and deploying complex, scalable production applications on Cloud or PaaS platforms and ContainersExperienced in GCC including GCC+ and MCC on Azure and AWSExpert in solution architecting with DataBricksWorking knowledge of DevOps software development tools and MLOps methodologiesBroad and deep knowledge of current IT technologiesMinimum 8 years of experience in technical roles applying architectural principles and designStrong presentation, communication, and negotiation skillsEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationshipsSelf-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude and creativityProficient in written and spoken EnglishDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
