AI Workflow Harness Engineer

The Company develops proprietary AI-enabled tools and workflows for the media and content production industry. The AI Workflow Harness Engineer will design, build and improve workflow orchestration systems that connect AI models, data, services and production tools into reliable, usable workflows.The role will work closely with product, engineering, machine-learning and production teams together requirements, integrate systems, evaluate outputs and support ongoing product development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain AI workflow orchestration systems.Develop and refine prompt frameworks, agent workflows, schema mappings, validation rules and workflow logic.Integrate language models, generative media systems, retrieval systems, databases, APIs and other AI services.Develop and maintain structured data models, metadata frameworks and intermediate representations required for AI-assisted workflows.Design and maintain evaluation and benchmarking processes to assess output quality, reliability and consistency.Support testing, optimisation and deployment of the Company’s proprietary systems and platforms.Work with product and production teams to validate outputs and improve workflows based on user and operational feedback.Review data-processing and preparation workflows for quality, cost and downstream impact.Maintain appropriate separation between training, testing and evaluation data.Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, architecture records, test records and process documentation.Document material design decisions, workflow changes, assumptions and evaluation findings.Participate in sprint planning, technical reviews and project reviews.Prepare regular progress updates and project documentation as required.Maintain version-controlled repositories, configuration records and evaluation logs.Promptly escalate material technical, operational, security or delivery risks.Comply with the Company’s policies on confidentiality, data protection, intellectual property, cybersecurity, software licensing, responsible AI and information security.What We Are Looking ForDegree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree is an advantage.Experience building AI or machine-learning pipelines, workflow orchestration systems, or evaluation and benchmarking infrastructure.Strong software engineering skills, particularly in Python, APIs, version control and continuous integration.Practical experience with large language models, prompt engineering, agent frameworks and retrieval systems.Familiarity with generative image or video systems is advantageous.Experience working with media, video or other complex multimodal data is a strong advantage.Able to scope technical problems, deliver working systems and document results clearly.Comfortable working with AI coding and analysis tools as part of daily engineering practice.
