he Technical Product Owner (TPO) drives end‑to‑end delivery of digital and technology products within Agile squads. The role bridges business, product strategy, and engineering execution, ensuring that technical solutions align with product vision, scalability, and enterprise architecture.Works closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Architects, and UX teams to translate strategic roadmaps into technology-ready backlogs and deliverablesJob ResponsibilitiesProduct & Technical OwnershipOwn and manage the technical product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation aligned to business and technical goalsTranslate product requirements into detailed technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designsEnsure alignment with architecture, APIs, data flows, and integration patternsDelivery & ExecutionWork closely with engineering teams to drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery executionRemove blockers and ensure smooth end‑to‑end delivery across systems and dependenciesValidate delivered features against functional and technical acceptance criteriaStakeholder & Squad AlignmentAct as the primary interface between product, business, and engineering teamsCollaborate with architects, DevOps, security, and platform teams to ensure compliant and scalable solutionsManage dependencies across multiple systems, vendors, and marketsTechnical Design & GovernanceEnsure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standardsReview and validate API contracts, integration design, and system interactionsSupport technical decision-making with trade-offs between speed, cost, and scalabilityData-Driven Product DevelopmentLeverage data and insights to inform product decisions andTrack product and technical KPIs (performance, reliability, adoption)Drive continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback loopsJob RequirementsProven experience as a Technical Product Owner / Product Owner / Delivery Lead in Agile environmentsUnderstanding of:APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (e.g. Azure / AWS)System integrations and middlewareData platforms and analyticsAbility to translate business needs into technical requirements backlog (epics, stories)Strong stakeholder management across business and engineering teams to conduct backlog grooming, prioritisation decisions based on business valueExperience with design tool to conduct conceptual designs using figma MakerGood understanding of design from usability, user experience principles perspective.Experience working in cross-functional squads and large enterprise environmentsExperience in agency insurance, digital journeys, and tech product managementExposure to AI / GenAI will be a plusExperience in multi-market or partner-integrated ecosystemsCore SkillsBacklog management & prioritisationAPI & integration understandingStakeholder management & communicationData-driven decision makingProblem solving with technical depthSuccess ProfileBalances business priorities with technical feasibilityDrives execution with strong ownership and accountabilityAble to navigate complex ecosystems (partners, platforms, markets)Communicates effectively with both engineering and leadership stakeholders
