ServiceNow Developer (ITSM / ITOM / CMDB)Location:Buona Vista, SingaporeEmployment Type:1-year Contract (subject to renewal)Salary:SGD $7,000 – $8,500 (commensurate with experience)Work Arrangement:HybridAbout the RoleThis role sits within the CIO Office of the IT department in a leading public sector agency supporting scientific research. The team oversees IT planning, platform operations, and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.You will be responsible for the administration, development, and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform, supporting enterprise service delivery including ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesServiceNow Platform Configuration & SupportConfigure and maintain ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalogue)Manage forms, workflows, SLAs, notifications, and system configurationsTroubleshoot platform issues including performance and access controlsWorkflow Automation & DevelopmentDevelop workflows using Flow Designer and scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes)Build catalog items, record producers, and service fulfilment processesEnhance automation using low-code/no-code capabilities and GenAI (e.g., Now Assist) where applicableITOM & CMDB ManagementSupport ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event ManagementMaintain CMDB data integrity aligned with CSDMPerform data quality checks and manage CI relationshipsIntegration DevelopmentDevelop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID ServerTroubleshoot integration issues and ensure secure data exchangeReporting & AnalyticsCreate dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using ServiceNow AnalyticsProvide insights for operational and process improvementsSecurity & ComplianceImplement role-based access controls (ACLs) and enforce secure scripting practicesSupport audit and compliance requirementsService Portal & UI DevelopmentDevelop and customise Service Portal and UI Builder componentsEnhance user experience and self-service capabilitiesRelease & TestingManage update sets and support deployments across environmentsParticipate in UAT and develop ATF test casesStakeholder EngagementGather requirements and collaborate with business and IT stakeholdersPresent solutions and support continuous improvement initiativesRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline3–5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development/administrationStrong experience in ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB modulesProficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Glide API, Flow Designer)Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and ServiceNow IntegrationHubCertifications (Required / Preferred):ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – RequiredCertified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) – PreferredITIL v3/v4 Foundation – PreferredNice to Have:Experience with Service Portal / UI BuilderExposure to Automated Test Framework (ATF)Familiarity with Now Assist / Virtual AgentExperience in public sector environmentsPlease note:Due to the anticipated high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
