Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale payment transformation initiative within the banking sector. This role will be responsible for driving business analysis activities, supporting payment system modernization, and working closely with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to deliver strategic payment solutions.The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of payment operations, transaction banking processes, and business transformation projects within financial services environments.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & TransformationGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payment transformation initiatives.Evaluate existing payment processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and process optimization.Support the design of future-state payment workflows, operating models, and business procedures.Conduct stakeholder workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and business process reviews.Payment Operations & Functional SupportAnalyze payment processing workflows, transaction routing, validation, exception management, reconciliation, and settlement activities.Assess business impacts arising from payment system enhancements and modernization initiatives.Support solution design activities relating to payment processing platforms and transaction management systems.Participate in gap analysis, issue management, and business decision-making discussions.Project Delivery & TestingPrepare business requirements, process documentation, functional specifications, and project deliverables.Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, migration activities, and operational readiness assessments.Assist with deployment planning, business acceptance, and post-implementation support activities.Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into functional solutions.Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with business users, operations teams, technology teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.Facilitate discussions to drive alignment across multiple workstreams.Support change management and business adoption activities throughout the project lifecycle.RequirementsExperience within banking or financial services environments.Strong understanding of payment operations, domestic payments, transaction banking, cash management, or related banking functions.Experience in business requirements gathering, process analysis, fit-gap assessment, and stakeholder management.Knowledge of payment modernization initiatives, payment system implementations, or payment operations transformation projects.Understanding of ISO 20022 standards and payment processing workflows.Experience supporting testing activities, migration planning, and business readiness programs.Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Finastra GPP or similar payment processing platforms.Exposure to payment hubs, domestic transfer systems, transaction processing, reconciliation, settlement, AML, sanctions screening, or fraud monitoring.Experience working on large-scale banking transformation programs.Ability to manage workshops, business interviews, and cross-functional stakeholder discussions.Please send your detailed resume in MS Word format to [email protected] withEducation LevelWorking experiencesEach employment backgroundReason for leaving each employmentLast drawn salaryExpected salaryDate of availability
