Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will be a critical part of our team, responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. The role is expected to leverage analytical expertise to design and produce comprehensive dashboards and reports, identify data quality issues proactively, and communicate findings clearly to diverse stakeholders. This role requires a strong blend of technical skills, business acumen, and an ability to translate data into compelling narratives.This position offers growth opportunities in:·      Developing expertise in advanced analytics techniques and business intelligence tools·      Building strong relationships with stakeholders across different business units·      Contributing to data-driven decision making that impacts commercial outcomes·      Expanding technical skills in emerging areas like AI/ML applications and automationEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Dashboard & Report Development·       Independently define complex business problems from a technical and analytical perspective.·       Support business requirements gathering by participating in stakeholder meetings and translating business needs into technical specifications·       Contribute to the development of analytical frameworks and methodologies under guidance from senior analysts·       Align business requirements with stakeholders, define key metrics, and develop comprehensive business intelligence solutions (e.g., interactive dashboards and detailed reports) to fulfill requirements.·       Build and maintain automated reporting solutions that deliver consistent, timely insights to business usersData Communication & Presentation·       Communicate and story tell results and insights to stakeholders effectively, driving understanding and action.·       Create business insights proactively and share actionable recommendations with stakeholders, influencing strategy and operational improvements.·       Prepare executive summaries and data narratives that highlight key findings and recommendations·       Support senior team members in presenting complex analytical findings to leadership teamsTechnical Implementation & Development·       Individual Contributor – producing data analysis, calls, and requirements production (SQL, Python, Metabases, Power BI, etc.) while following established coding standards and best practices·       Develop and maintain SQL queries, Python scripts, and other analytical tools to support regular reporting needs·       Contribute to the improvement of existing analytical processes and tools through code optimization and documentation·       Independently plan and develop data product features & solutions with minimal direction, demonstrating strong ownership and problem-solving.Customer Journey & Behavioral Analytics·       Quantify the end-to-end customer journey using advanced analytical techniques to increase conversion and engagement, providing data-backed recommendations.·       Analyze user behavior patterns, conversion funnels, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities for improvementProject Coordination & Delivery·       Act as a key point of contact for specific markets or business units to plan and organize all data-related intakes and project pipelines.·       Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders according to established timelines·       Coordinate effectively with data engineering, development, and product teams to define data requirements, advocate for necessary tooling, and ensure data availability for robust analytics & insights.·       Produce sophisticated dashboards, reports, and analytics independently.·       Proactively understand, ensure, and govern data quality across various datasets.·       Troubleshoot complex data quality issues, identifying root causes and proposing robust, scalable improvement suggestions.Cross-Team Collaboration·       Clearly communicate business requirements and analytical insights to stakeholders, defining scope, deliverables, and potential impacts.·       Proactively define project workstreams and data solutions by directly collaborating with other teams.·       Define problems and propose solutions based on experience and active listening.·       Participate in technical discussions and provide analytical perspective on data requirements and system capabilities.Data Quality Management & Monitoring·       Monitor data quality metrics and alert senior team members to potential issues requiring investigation·       Contribute to data quality improvement initiatives by identifying patterns and suggesting process enhancements.·       Escalate critical data issues to appropriate team members while providing detailed analysis of impact and potential solutions.
