Given our decade of success we have evolved to become one of the top trusted providers in Singapore and service a client base across banking and financial services, insurance, information technology, healthcare, retail, and supply chain.We're seeking an experienced L2 Production Support to join our team.Job SummaryWe are looking for an L2 Application Production Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux/Unix and SQL to support Java/J2EE applications. The candidate will be responsible for application monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution and ensuring system availability while meeting defined service-level agreements (SLAs).Key Responsibilities• Provide L2 production and application support for Java/J2EE-based applications.• Monitor application performance, investigate incidents and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.• Use Linux/Unix commands to troubleshoot application issues, analyse logs and perform system checks.• Write and execute SQL queries to investigate database issues, validate data and troubleshoot application errors.• Support web applications, batch jobs and scheduled processes.• Troubleshoot application issues involving JBOSS, MariaDB, SQL and shell scripts.• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database and L1 support teams to resolve incidents.• Perform root cause analysis, document resolutions and maintain support procedures.• Manage incident tickets, escalations and shift handovers.• Ensure adherence to production support processes, operational procedures and quality standards.Mandatory Requirements• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix.• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in SQL and database queries.• Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.• Recent experience working with Java/J2EE applications.• At least 1 year of application support experience, or a developer with good Java knowledge who is willing to learn production support.• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, log analysis and troubleshooting.• Ability to write SQL queries, including joins, filtering, data validation and troubleshooting queries.• Basic understanding of web applications, batch jobs and application-server environments.• Comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, teamwork and willingness to learn.WHAT’S ON OFFERYou will be remunerated with an excellent base salary and entitled to attractive company benefits.
