Business System Analyst

Job Description & RequirementsTo provide business and technology support by analysing operational requirements, developing and maintaining management information systems (MIS), dashboards, and reporting solutions, while ensuring the effective operation of SAP, CRM, and related IT systems. The role is responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, driving process automation and data accuracy, supporting end users through training and troubleshooting, and working closely with vendors and stakeholders to enhance system efficiency, performance, and business decision-making across the organization.Key Duties & Responsibilities·    Discuss with internal end users and business stakeholders to develop a thorough understanding of business needs and identify, analyse and translate these business requirements into technical specifications.·    Develop and manage Management Information System reports (e.g Sales, Inventory, Staff and Outlet performance) and Dashboards, incorporating ongoing requirements and new features based on requirements provided by business users.·    Improve systems by studying current processes; designing modifications. For example, automate processes by developing scripts and codes from MS SQL database to supplement SAP system.·    Design and maintain scripts to handle errors from source documents to check for accuracy and inconsistencies before uploading to reporting and analysis platform.·    Provide user training and support to ensure effective utilization of dashboards and IT solutions.·    Provide daily SAP helpdesk support, troubleshoot on first level SAP issues for local operations and escalate to the vendor if necessary.·    Provide on-going support on in-house CRM application, its analysis platform including tablets and network maintenance.·    Liaise closely with vendors and group IT in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patching and upgrades·    Maintenance knowledge of server and office equipment including laptop/printers and business email setup·    Day to day system support for software, hardware and network issues, if need arises·    Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures·    Identify and implement automation, data analytics, and AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy and business processes. ·    Any ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the reporting manager.Essential Experience/Skills·    Preferably at least 1 year of relevant working experience implementing ormanaging MS SQL, central data warehouse and managing analysis platform·    Degree/Diploma in Data Science preferred.·    Proven experience as a key-user or active participation in business systemsimplementation, enhancement, integration, upgrade or support projects·    Highly analytical and possess strong commercial acumen to crunch usefuldata on business performance.·    Hands on experience with SAP, Power BI, Power Query, Python, SQL, otherreporting, analytics or business intelligence tools ·    Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Network Administration, Hardware andSoftware·    Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills·    Proactive mindset with a keen interest in digital transformation, processautomation, and continuous improvementAbilityto prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
