OKX will be prioritising applicants who have a current right to work in Hong Kong, and do not require OKX's sponsorship of a visa.

Who We Are

At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom.

OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves.

Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles: We Before Me, Do the Right Thing, and Get Things Done. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er.

OKX is part of OKG, a group that brings the value of Blockchain to users around the world, through our leading products OKX, OKX Wallet, OKLink and more.

About The Opportunity

OKX is building out its equities and tokenized securities business. This is a post-trade and brokerage systems product role — you will own the layer that sits between our users and the securities markets: order management, execution, settlement, asset servicing and reconciliation. We have strong crypto product and engineering talent. What this role brings is depth in brokerage architecture and securities market structure: how these systems are built, why they are built that way, and what breaks at scale. You will be the internal authority on that, and your judgment will shape decisions that are expensive to reverse.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own the brokerage core — order management, execution and routing, instrument lifecycle and trading status, settlement and reconciliation.

Shape account, custody and clearing architecture, along with the operating model required to run it.

Own corporate actions and asset servicing end to end, in both conventional and on-chain form.

Define how securities risk and margin frameworks coexist with those of a 24/7 digital asset market.

Bring market structure, execution quality and regulatory requirements into product decisions early, before they become blockers.

Set the standard for rigour — write PRDs precise enough to build from, and lead alignment across engineering, risk, legal, compliance and treasury.

What We Look For In You

Domain Depth

5+ years in post-trade or brokerage systems product management. We strongly prefer candidates from internet and licensed brokerages — Futu, Tiger, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, Webull, Longbridge — as well as clearing firms and brokerage infrastructure providers.

Architectural perspective. You have a clear view of where responsibility belongs across the order, execution, clearing, settlement, asset servicing and ledger layers, and of what goes wrong downstream when a boundary is drawn in the wrong place.

Depth across the order and execution path. Order types and parameters, state machine design, idempotency across an external execution boundary, cancel/replace and partial-fill semantics, timeout and exception recovery. This is the core craft of the role.

End-to-end ownership of at least one area beyond the order path — clearing and settlement, corporate actions and asset servicing, margin and risk, securities lending, or position and cash reconciliation.

Commercial and historical perspective. You understand how a brokerage actually earns, how each revenue line constrains the systems beneath it, and why the industry made the structural choices it did.

Ways of Working

Strong technical intuition. You are comfortable discussing system architecture and data flows with engineers. You do not need to be a developer, but you think with the rigour of one.

You design for the exceptions — the halted symbol, the timed-out counterparty, the partial fill, the corporate action mid-flight — not just the order that goes through.

You run programs, not just write specs. You produce rigorous PRDs independently, drive alignment across engineering, risk, legal, compliance and treasury, and own the full lifecycle from requirements through post-launch review.

You write precisely, and can make complex mechanics legible to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

High agency. You are comfortable taking an open question all the way to a shipped, reconciled system, and making calls with incomplete information.

Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with internal engineering and product stakeholders in the China-based R&D center.

Nice-To-Haves

Product experience with margin financing or securities lending.

Exposure to tokenized securities, digital asset custody, or on-chain settlement.

Experience integrating with broker-dealer or clearing APIs, as either the integrator or the provider.

Hands-on experience with multi-jurisdiction regulatory frameworks — SEC/FINRA, MiFID II, or equivalent.

A track record of launching a brokerage product in a new market from zero.

Fluency in English to support communication with global product and business stakeholders.

Genuine curiosity about what happens when securities markets meet 24/7 markets.

Perks & Benefits

Competitive total compensation package

L&D programs and education subsidy for employees' growth and development

Various team building programs and company events
