The incumbent will develop critical business intelligence initiatives, support the collection, transformation and visualization of data and participate in projects that will contribute to strategic business objectives.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGData & AnalyticsPartner closely with sales channels as a trusted data advisor and subject matter expertAnalyse large datasets to uncover trends, generate insights, and identify opportunities to improve performanceTranslate business questions into data-driven solutions and actionable recommendationsReporting & VisualisationDesign and build intuitive dashboards to track business performanceDeliver timely, high-quality reports for campaign tracking and business monitoringSupport Associate Director and Channel Heads in reporting, sales data visualization, strategic planning, business performance analysis and measurement of quantitative metricsThis position has delegated authority in accordance with department delegated authority amount from time to timeBusiness Impact & TransformationSupport strategic planning by providing insights that inform decision-makingDrive initiatives to improve data management, automation, and analytics capabilitiesCollaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsSupport division wide audit and governance processes when required, inclusive of routine and ad-hoc reviewsEnhance reporting processes through automation and continuous productivitiesAbility to build strong collaboration with other stakeholders (e.g. Actuarial, Audit, Product, Finance, Technology, Tied Distribution) to achieve better support to the distribution channelsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management or related fieldAt least 3 to 5 years of working experience in reporting, business intelligence and data analyticsA self-starter with analytical curiosity and strong business acumen to solve data & business problemsStrong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience, with ability to develop relationships across the teams and divisionsResults and detail orientated with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and ability to make data driven recommendationsStrong in data literacy – ability to read, write, manipulate and make sense of large dataProficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced)Proficiency in tools such as Excel VBA, SQL, Python or any other common programming languagesGood experience in creating dashboards in visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview or similar toolsExperience in the insurance or financial services industry would be an added advantage
