Associate Research Director

We are looking for a commercially driven and forward-thinking Associate Research Director to lead high-impact research and insights projects. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong client leadership, analytical depth, and hands-on experience integrating AI into research workflows. You will play a key role in shaping innovative, data-driven solutions while growing client relationships and developing a high-performing team.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Leadership & Commercial GrowthLead client engagements end-to-end, from proposal development to delivery, ensuring strong alignment with business objectives Drive revenue growth through strategic upselling, cross-selling, and proactive client advisory Confidently present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making Research Excellence & InnovationDesign and oversee qualitative and quantitative research with strong methodological rigor Integrate AI-powered tools (e.g. automation, advanced analytics, GenAI) to enhance research efficiency and insight generation Develop clear, compelling narratives and data visualizations that translate complex data into actionable strategies Project & Operational LeadershipOversee multiple projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and profitability targets are met Collaborate closely with Operations and Data Processing teams on complex or large-scale studies Proactively manage risks, resources, and project delivery challenges Team Leadership & Capability BuildingMentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning Build team capability in AI-enabled research methods and advanced analytics Support performance management, resource planning, and talent development Requirements8–12 years of experience in market research, insights, consulting, or strategy roles Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies Proven experience applying AI tools (e.g., machine learning, automation, GenAI) in research or analytics workflows Strong commercial acumen with a track record in client management and business development Excellent storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop teams
