Merchant Sales Specialist

This is a 12-month contract role under Optimum Solutions.This role supports our client, a leading Southeast Asian superapp that offers a wide range of services, including mobility, food delivery, and digital payments.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)Responsibilities:• You will prospect, pitch, and acquire merchants for payments products• You will be accountable for merchant activity and engagement throughout their onboarding journey.• You will stay informed about market knowledge, and competitor activity, to contribute to strategies that meet market changes and merchants' requirements.• You will handle daily merchant queries (commercial and operational) and ensure a smooth onboarding and post-onboarding process.Qualifications:• Strong interest in sales and/or at least 3 months of relevant sales experience• Experience in cold-calling and/or canvassing, including door-to-door sales, is an advantage.
