IT Project Manager, AI Transformation (Banking)

ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of multiple IT projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.Manage AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and digital transformation initiatives across enterprise functions.Define project scope, objectives, milestones, resource requirements, and implementation roadmaps.Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions aligned with organizational objectives.Establish project governance, monitor project health, manage risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising solution architects, developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity teams, data scientists, business analysts, QA teams, and vendors.Drive Agile, Scrum, Hybrid, or Waterfall delivery methodologies depending on project requirements.Oversee vendor engagement, project budgets, procurement activities, and third-party deliverables.Ensure AI solutions comply with enterprise governance, security, regulatory, risk management, and responsible AI frameworks.Monitor project KPIs and prepare executive-level reporting, steering committee updates, and status presentations.Support solution deployment, user acceptance testing (UAT), production rollout, hypercare, and post-implementation reviews.Requirements8–10 years of experience managing enterprise IT projects, with a proven track record of delivering complex technology initiatives.Hands-on experience leading AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, or Data Analytics projects.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.Experience delivering cloud-based technology solutions (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is highly preferred.Strong understanding of enterprise system integration, APIs, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, and application development lifecycles.Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.Experience managing project budgets, timelines, vendors, procurement activities, and cross-functional delivery teams.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.Financial services, banking, or highly regulated industry experience is advantageous.
