StrategyFormulates 5-year regional/country strategic plans, with clear understanding of the economic and industrial trends of the market (including customer needs and competitor offerings) in order to secure Thales’ position and growth in the market.Evaluates the accessible market for each product line, Identifies growth opportunities, organic and inorganic, and prepare report/ recommendations for management review/actionIdentifies, In close coordination with sales team,  the relevant go to market in order to increase the probability to win Contributes in promoting the region’s markets within the Group to attract Global Business Unit (GBU) and exporting units’ interest and to grow their local presenceManages interfaces with GBUs and exporting units that have business stakes in the country to contribute in their strategic business plans including industrial localisation and corresponding action plans.Brings operational support for the delivery of strategic actions such as partnerships, mergers & acquisitions etc. Lead or co-lead specific actions, where applicable, in coordination with other Group units and functions.Manages country reporting to Group Corporate and GBUs, and channel feedback to country management.Marketing, Makes use of business intelligence data on a market segment or geographical organisation.Supports promotion action to KAMs and sales forces during the upstream opportunity phase, up to the designation of a capture leader;Understands customer mission, operational environment and priorities, broadens their understanding of Thales solutions in connection with their missions, and provides customer/market information to the marketing function;In conjunction with the KAMs and the sales force, contributes to defining the best solution (product/system/service) addressing customer needs during the upstream opportunity phase. Facilitate the value proposition pitch development.Supports the marketing, business development and commercial teams for the promotion and marketing activities.·       Hands-on and results oriented ·       Business acumen with strategic mindset·       Autonomous, curious and proactive with strategic mindset·       Well organized and rigorous·       Experience of delivering continuous improvement initiatives·       Very open and teamwork oriented·       Master’s Degree in Business Administration ·       10 to 15 years working experience with preferably a successful experience in a large consulting firm and/or industry.
