Company Overviewwe are a full-category food and ingredient supply chain platform serving government agencies, enterprises, hotels, and catering chains with one-stop supply chain solutions.Job SummaryLead the design and deployment of scalable AI/ML models to optimize demand forecasting, inventory replenishment, and cold-chain logistics for fresh produce across e-commerce channels.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and optimization of scalable AI/machine learning models to improve demand forecasting, inventory replenishment, and cold-chain logistics planning for fresh produce across self-operated and POP e-commerce channelsArchitect algorithms and ETL pipelines to process large volumes of real-time, unstructured operational data (orders, warehouse, cold-chain IoT sensors) to deploy AI/ML solutions from theoretical models into productionDesign and conduct experiments to evaluate deployed models’ performance, including recommendation engines, dynamic pricing, and perishability/wastage prediction models for e-commerceIdentify, diagnose, and resolve bugs and model drift issues in production environments to maintain model accuracy and reliabilityMentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and operations teams to apply advanced statistics, scripting, and programming knowledgeManage cloud and software platforms hosting AI/ML models to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost efficiencyLiaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, vendors, and China-based fresh supply chain and technology partners to coordinate cross-border data integration and vendor collaborationRequired competencies and certificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or Science (Computer Studies) and a minimum of five years’ work experience as an AI EngineerProven experience building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems, preferably in fresh food e-commerce, supply chain, or related data-intensive industriesStrong proficiency in Python and relevant machine learning frameworksEffective communication skills in both English and Mandarin to support business liaison with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and partners
