By investing in our people, we create a long-term advantage for the business. About the team We are seeking a Learning Specialist II to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for new Affirmers. As a part of the Learning team, this role is perfect for a strong facilitator who loves building welcoming human connections and is energized by managing programmatic logistics, analyzing data, and driving continuous process improvement to scale people programs. What you’ll do
First-Line Support: Act as the primary onboarding point of contact for new hires and hiring managers, actively monitoring and responding across onboarding channels. Facilitation & Training: Deliver engaging virtual and in-person training events to new hires within their first 90 days. Onboarding Project Management: Lead onboarding projects from start to finish, partnering cross-functionally (Workplace, IT, etc.) to ensure deliverables are met and execution is seamless. Program & Resource Delivery: Support the development and delivery of learning assets, such as slide decks, eLearning modules, and job aids. Portfolio Operations: Handle onboarding program logistics, including calendaring, communications, tracking deliverables, and managing new hire swag. Content Administration: Administer and maintain onboarding content and tasks in Workday Learning. Knowledge Management: Maintain core onboarding documentation, such as keeping onboarding Notion pages up to date and updating email communications to reflect program changes. Data & Process Optimization: Analyze internal data and conduct external research to identify trends and recommend opportunities to improve the onboarding experience. Travel: Travel to facilitate onsite onboarding events and support team initiatives (estimated one to two times quarterly).
What we look for
Experience & Execution: You have 3+ years of program management experience, ideally for people-related programs and/or at an organization that has scaled beyond 2,500 employees. Analytical Skills: You possess excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with 2+ years analyzing and making recommendations based on data. Continuous Improvement Mentality: You recognize that “perfect” is not an end state and continually drive for program improvement grounded in end-user feedback and/or industry insights. Communication & Facilitation Depth: You possess strong communication and presentation skills across virtual and in-person environments, with an ability to simplify complex information and a passion for helping Affirmers find the information they need. Collaboration & Teamwork: You are a collaborative team player who builds stable working relationships to support team and organizational success, taking on tasks and operational responsibilities as needed to drive meaningful outcomes.
Base Pay Grade - G Equity Grade - 3 Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.) USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $100,000 - $120,000 USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $89,000 - $109,000 Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position. #LI-Remote Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company!
